- Hours Per Week: 15 (7.5 hours per day, two days a week)

REQUIREMENTS
- SLP State Certification
- ASHA Certification Preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting required annual and quarterly resident speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing evaluations/assessments.
- Developing and implementing resident-centered treatment plans as appropriate.
- Supporting communication, feeding, swallowing, and food consistency needs.
- Training and educating new staff on safe feeding practices for residents at risk of aspiration.
- Training staff on prescribed food consistencies and swallowing-related precautions.
- Participating in interdisciplinary collaboration as needed with nursing, therapy, dietary, respiratory, and medical staff.
- Supporting regulatory compliance related to required SLP services and assessments.
