REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Education/Certification Qualification: Master’s Degree
• Texas Teacher and Special Education Certificate
• Diagnostician Certificate

  RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receives student referrals and implements the evaluation process within the required timelines
• Selects and administers formal and informal evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services according to federal and TEA regulations.
• Collects and organizes relevant evaluation data from student cumulative folders, classroom teachers, principals, support staff, parents, and outside resource personnel.
• Conducts classroom observations and personal interviews.
• Completes evaluations, compiles information and generates legally defensible
• Full and Individual Evaluation reports within required timelines.
