In this exciting travel assignment, you can relocate to St. Thomas or St. Johns USVI for the 2024-2025 School Year to partner with the Department of Education. All travel assignments offer relocation assistance and mentorship.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst State Certification

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other comprehensive assessments to identify students’ behavioral, social, and learning needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based behavior intervention plans (BIPs) aligned with each student’s goals.
  • Provide direct and indirect behavioral support services to improve communication, adaptive skills, social interactions, and school participation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate behavioral strategies into classroom and educational activities.
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear data-driven reports and recommendations to support student success.
  • Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting intervention plans as needed based on ongoing data collection and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including assessments, intervention plans, progress notes, data records, and compliance reports.
  • Stay current with best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA) through research, supervision, and professional development.
