JOB DESCRIPTION
Orange Tree Staffing is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to “Build and Inspire Growth” by providing education-based services to students at Arizona Autism Charter Schools. As an RBT, you will have a passion for working with children and adolescents with behavioral challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices to support their academic and social development. The Registered Behavior Technician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement behavior intervention plans, collect and analyze data, and provide direct support to students with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
- Analyze behavioral data to inform the development of effective behavior intervention plans.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Provide direct support to students in accordance with their unique needs and goals.
- Collect and maintain accurate and timely data on student behavior and progress.
- Monitor and adjust intervention strategies based on ongoing data analysis.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to student support.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and behavior interventions.
- Provide training and support to school staff, including teachers and paraprofessionals, on behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with the broader school community to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of interventions, assessments, and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting.
- Previous experience implementing behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of individual students.
