REQUIREMENTS
- OT State Licensure
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based intervention plans tailored to each student’s goals.
- Provide therapeutic services to improve daily living skills, motor coordination, sensory processing, and school participation.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate occupational therapy strategies into classroom and educational activities.
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear reports and recommendations to support student success.
- Monitor progress regularly, adjusting intervention plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including assessments, intervention plans, progress notes, and compliance reports.
- Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy through research and professional development.
