REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Teaching Certification in one of the following subjects: (English, Math, Science, or History)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons that meet the academic needs of diverse learners.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that promotes student growth and achievement.
- Differentiate instruction and adapt materials to support students with varying abilities, learning styles, and cultural backgrounds.
- Assess and monitor student progress through formal and informal measures, using data to guide instructional decisions.
- Collaborate with special education staff, related service providers, and other educators to support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
- Maintain consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom expectations, and strategies for support at home.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, professional learning communities, and staff development sessions.
- Implement classroom management strategies that foster respect, responsibility, and student engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, assessments, student progress, and compliance documentation as required by district and state policies.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in curriculum design, instructional methods, and educational technology.
