JOB DESCRIPTION
- Location Of Services: Surprise, AZ
- Hours Per Week: 35hrs/week [7hrs per day with 30mins unpaid lunch daily]
- Dates of Contract: 25/26 School Year with high possibility to extend

REQUIREMENTS
- OTA State Licensure
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in administering screenings and collecting data to help identify students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional needs under the direction of a licensed OT.
- Support the implementation of individualized, evidence-based intervention plans developed by the supervising OT.
- Provide therapeutic services to improve daily living skills, motor coordination, sensory processing, and school participation.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate occupational therapy strategies into classroom routines and educational activities.
- Document student performance, maintain accurate records, and share observations with the supervising OT to inform IEP meetings and recommendations.
- Monitor student progress during sessions and provide feedback to the supervising OT to guide adjustments in intervention plans.
- Maintain compliance with documentation requirements, including session notes and progress updates.
- Participate in training and professional development to remain current with best practices in school-based occupational therapy.
