REQUIREMENTS
- BCBA State Certification
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other comprehensive assessments to identify students’ behavioral, social, and learning needs.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based behavior intervention plans (BIPs) aligned with each student’s goals.
- Provide direct and indirect behavioral support services to improve communication, adaptive skills, social interactions, and school participation.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate behavioral strategies into classroom and educational activities.
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear data-driven reports and recommendations to support student success.
- Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting intervention plans as needed based on ongoing data collection and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including assessments, intervention plans, progress notes, data records, and compliance reports.
- Stay current with best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA) through research, supervision, and professional development.
