JOB DESCRIPTION
Orange Tree Staffing is seeking an Adapted Art Therapist to “Build and Inspire Growth” by providing education-based services to students at Brandywine School District . As an Art Therapist, you will work with students to facilitate therapeutic processes using art as a medium for expression and healing. Your role will involve assessing clients’ needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and guiding them through creative activities to address emotional, psychological, and social challenges. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote holistic well-being and support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Enhance students’ critical thinking skills
- Encourages students to problem solve and think creatively, skills that are essential for success in our modern world
- Play an invaluable role in supporting students’ mental health
- Promote self-esteem and confidence, improve critical thinking skills, which are essential for success in life
- Facilitating communication, especially among students who cannot express themselves verbally
- Help students develop self-awareness and self-esteem
- Other responsibilities as set forth by the school district
REQUIREMENTS

- Board Certification in Art Therapy. Must be certified to be considered
- Experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing relevant services.
